Describe the singing
Start with "singing voice". Listen to A, the sound you described, and B, the rest, separately. Compare the words and melody with the original.
Keep the vocals
Leave only the vocal result audible. If it works for your recording, use paid minutes to process the full file. Download WAV or MP3 audio, or an MP4 with the selected soundtrack for a video upload.
Hear the words and melody more closely
Vocal isolation separates singing from a mixed recording. Use the result alongside the original when listening back to a phrase or practising a melody. If you already have the original vocal track in an editing project, use that track first.
Works well on
- Comparing a vocal phrase with the original recording
- Listening closely to lyrics and melody for practice
- Trying a short passage before processing a full file
- Using an audio file or a performance video in the same tool
Know before you start
- Instruments may remain, and parts of the singing may be missing or changed. Check a busy section first.
- Lead and backing vocals may stay together. The description does not guarantee separate singers.
- The result is a separated mix, not a recovered original studio vocal track.
- Separation does not grant permission to share, remix, or redistribute a recording.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I extract vocals from a song or video?
Upload your file and describe "singing voice". Compare A and B in the free preview, then leave only the vocals audible. Full-file processing uses paid minutes and lets you download the selected result.
Is vocal extraction the same as removing vocals?
Vocal extraction keeps the singing. Vocal removal keeps the accompaniment for purposes such as karaoke. Choose the output based on what you want to hear. Keep the accompaniment instead.
Can I get a clean acapella with no instruments?
You can try to isolate the vocals, but a completely clean acapella is not guaranteed. Instruments, reverb, or effects may remain, and some vocal detail may be lost. Compare the preview with your original before processing the full recording.
Can I isolate a speaking voice too?
This page targets singing. For dialogue, interviews, or speeches, describe the speaking voice you want to keep instead. Try speaking voice extraction.
Which files can I upload and download?
Upload MP3, WAV, or M4A audio, or MP4 or MOV video, up to 10 minutes and 1 GB. After paid full-file processing, download WAV or MP3 audio, or MP4 with your selected soundtrack for a video upload. YouTube URLs are not supported; use a file you have permission to process.
Is the vocal preview free?
The 30-second preview is free without signup, with up to 20 previews every 24 hours. Full-file processing and downloads use paid minutes, starting at $4.99 for 10 minutes.
